Investigate the airflow and temperature distribution in a room with cold air infiltration adopting the impinging jet ventilation(IJV) heating system under different conditions of door opening time and air supply parameters. The results indicate that the advantage of small temperature gradient in IJV rooms is evidently weakened due to cold air infiltration, but the velocity near the nozzle does not increase. Both the floortoceiling temperature difference and the temperature contrast between ankle and head levels induced by cold air infiltration decrease with an increased supply air velocity. Suggests adopting the appropriatly high supply air velocity in an IJV heating system for a room with obvious cold air infiltration.
